Christmas holds many special memories for me. As a young girl growing up in the fifties Christmas was magical. I loved to buy simple little gifts for everyone as a child. My sister Twinkle worked at our local 5 & 10 cent store and every year at Christmastime she would give me one of her paychecks to spend on presents for everyone. I loved the Christmas music playing in the 5 & 10 cent store. Every time I do Christmas shopping and hear the music play I return in memory to that special 5 & 10 cent store, as a little girl again shopping for everyone. My sister is not with us now but this one very special memory of her appears every Christmas season.

CHRISTMAS COOKIES-CHOCOLATE CRACKLES
I want to share the SNOOK BOYS favorite reccipe. If you love brownies you are gonna love this easy recipe.
1 Package Devil's Food Cake Mix with pudding in the mix
2 eggs
1 T. water
1/2 Cup Crisco
Mix well. Roll into 1 inch balls. Roll in 10X sugar. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 - 10 minutes |
